myWMS: What’s New in 2026 1st Wave

/storage/

myWMS continues to evolve to meet the growing demands of modern logistics operations. Wave 1 of 2026 introduces a set of features that strengthen operational efficiency and elevate control across warehouse processes.

In this release, three major enhancements stand out, significantly expanding the impact of myWMS in daily operations: Stock Requests Between Locations, Purchase Returns, and Assembly Orders.

Stock Requests Between Locations

This feature streamlines stock requests across different locations—whether within the same company or between companies in Business Central.

The operator simply indicates what is needed and where, and the system handles the rest, ensuring a consistent and immediate logistics flow by automatically creating the supporting documents.

What this feature enables:

  • Create and register stock requests and shipments between locations in a simple, centralized way
  • Manage movements between warehouses, stores, production units, or other locations
  • Support internal (intra-company) and external (inter-company) requests without altering the operational process
  • Reduce parallel communication and eliminate informal requests via email or phone

Business value:

  • Standardizes stock requests across different companies and locations
  • Increases speed and transparency in replenishment
  • Ensures full traceability from request to receipt
  • Gives warehouse teams more autonomy while maintaining centralized control

Purchase Returns

With this new capability, users can now create and register Purchase Returns directly in the WMS, making the process faster, more complete, and more reliable—without needing to switch to the backoffice.

What this feature enables:

  • Create returns directly in the WMS
  • View pending returns
  • Register returned products and quantities
  • Attach photos and comments to support the process
  • Automatically integrate with the shipping flow

Business value:

  • Greater traceability and photographic evidence
  • A clearer and more documented return process, enabling faster and more objective analysis
  • Simple, fast, and consistent operation

Assembly Orders

This feature expands myWMS to support assembly operations, especially for kit building, packaging, or simple assemblies carried out in the warehouse.

What this feature enables:

  • Create assembly orders directly in the WMS
  • View pending assembly orders
  • Validate and consume components
  • Register the output of assembly and edit assembled quantities

Business value:

  • Eliminates parallel manual records
  • Increases inventory accuracy
  • Ensures better control over consumption and assembled units
  • Automates processes previously split between warehouse and backoffice

A Stronger myWMS for 2026

The 2026 Wave 1 reinforces myWMS’s commitment to delivering a simple, modern solution aligned with the needs of logistics operations. With these new features, teams gain autonomy, speed, and visibility, while the business gains consistency, traceability, and efficiency.

myWMS will continue to evolve to keep up with the market and the growing complexity of operations, always with the goal of making warehouses smarter, faster, and more productive.
